About Share Price Desk: the publisher and the sources

Publisher and subject

Share Price Desk is published by an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, an exchange or a licensed adviser, and it holds no reader's money. The one subject here is reading JSE share prices: closes in cents and rand, the 52-week range and the position of the close in it.

Where the numbers come from

The figures are read from TradingView screener on 6 November 2026 and stored; none is typed by hand. How each figure is worked out, and the checks run before a record is written, are on the method page. What a source does not carry is left out: no invented yields, no estimates, no sector labels we cannot trust.

The affiliate link

The site carries one affiliate link, to the broker FxPro, and may earn a commission if a reader opens an account through it, at no extra cost to the reader. FxPro offers contracts for difference; an account there does not buy a share listed on the exchange covered here.
